This March, 33 FOR CHARITY volunteers came together for our largest spring food drive to date — delivering essential groceries and pantry supplies to over 200 families across Maumee and surrounding Northwest Ohio communities.
A Community Effort
More than 45 volunteers spent two weekends sorting, packing, and distributing food boxes filled with fresh produce, canned goods, pasta, rice, and personal care items. Local grocery partners donated over 3,000 pounds of food, while individual donors contributed funds to fill gaps in supply.
Impact by the Numbers
- 200+ families served across 4 distribution sites
- 3,000+ pounds of food collected and distributed
- 45 volunteers contributing 180+ service hours
- 12 partner organizations supporting the effort
Looking Ahead
Food insecurity remains a pressing challenge in our region. We are already planning our summer food program and welcome new volunteers and donors who want to help. Visit our donation page or contact us to get involved.
